Being a creative person can be a very lonely and exhausting space to live in. Especially when you are creating for such a high purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the world around you or encouraging fellow believers in their walk with God. The opposition can also be discouraging. There is a need that we as creatives feel that is often overlooked and that is the need to be filled back up after pouring our lives out before the Lord. We often don’t have the time in our busy schedules to rest or refresh ourselves as needed. Especially for women who might also have jobs, be mothers, caregivers or in full time ministry as a songwriter, worship leader or artist. The Aluma Women’s Songwriting Retreat was born out of a need we felt and we are excited to share it with you!

The Aluma Women’s Songwriting Retreats will have the theme: Rest, Refresh, Write, Record, Repeat. They will be held at Metigoshe Ministries, Lake Metigoshe, North Dakota. Check in time will be 3PM on Sunday and checkout is 11am on Wednesday.

Our retreats include the following:

* 5 Writing sessions (broken up into groups),
