Being a creative person can be a very lonely and exhausting space to live in. Especially when you are creating for such a high purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the world around you, or encouraging fellow believers in their walk with God. The opposition can also be discouraging. There is a need that we as creatives feel that is often overlooked and that is the need to be filled back up after pouring our lives out before the Lord. We often don’t have the time in our busy schedules to rest or refresh ourselves as needed. Especially for women who might also have jobs, husbands, are mothers, caregivers, or in full time ministry as a songwriter, worship leader, or artist. The Aluma Women’s Songwriting Retreat was born out of a need we felt and we are excited to share it with you!

The Aluma Women’s Songwriting Retreats will have the theme: Rest, Refresh, Write, Record, Repeat. The June 2027  Pennsylvania Retreat will be held in the beautiful Amish countryside of Lancaster, PA; more details coming soon!!!

Our June 2027 retreat will include the following:

* Accommodation (for overnight guests)

* Dinner Thursday evening

* All meals included

* 4 Writing sessions (broken up into groups)

* Recording times available; to be scheduled

* At least 3 song sharing sessions

* Daily worship times

* Daily Devotional times

* Daily Prayer times

* Possible Activities such as:

– Bonfire, & S’mores,

– Boardgames, Puzzles,

– Possible day trips to local attractions (weather permitting)
